Within the sunlight you can see the distant shade cast by trees being buffeted in the wind. Its a hot Autumn day, but the wind keeps it cool and I keep the window cracked open. Trees of oak, red maple, black walnut, buckeye, and elm cry the coming of Winter. Their turning leaves litter the yard and porch never letting me forget Winter as i gaze happily on the still fresh garden.
Ohio always hosts the most beautiful Fall scenery. Its still fairly hot out, but you can feel the chill in the windy days. It almost makes it worth journeying outside. The constant sound of the rustling leaves is the music of an Autumn sun. Theres two winds of change in the northwest. Autumn is the trees last, but Spring brings anew trees, gardens, and crops alike.
There is a sizable distance between woods and my window. Its the space between Spring and Autumn. Two winds and two seasons to go yet.
