Frankly, I don't think Mother's Day deserves any special recognition as theres nothing unique about breeding. Its something common to all species and happens way too often amongst humans. Should i give the breeding mice under my floorboards a happy Mother's Day? At least they don't display the snobby entitlement that many human mothers show by demanding gifts and preferential treatment. Afterall, a human chooses to go through pregnancy, labor, and birth. Why do I owe my mother for something she chose to do? If anything, she owes me for forcing me into an existence I didn't choose.
